By tailoring each airport shop to reflect its unique identity—whether through colour schemes, lighting, or custom fixtures—Liqui designs airport shops that maintain brand integrity while blending with the overall design of the airport. This approach results in a collection of visually cohesive, inviting spaces that enhance the traveller experience and reinforce brand identity within the dynamic environment of Dammam Airport.

"With what we learnt in the first airport project, we were able to approach this project with a unique perspective with the notes from Jeddah."

When we started designing the shops at Dammam Airport, we looked back at what we’d done in Jeddah to see what could carry over and where we could improve. Working on DK72 and Brew92 taught us a lot about what travellers respond to in an airport shop—things like clear layout flow, comfortable seating, and making each brand’s personality stand out in a cohesive space. With these insights, we focused on our commercial interior designs reflecting each brand’s identity while also feeling like part of a unified airport experience. Our goal was to make spaces that are both functional and inviting for travellers, grounded in what we’ve learned from past projects.

We see sustainability as essential when approaching large-scale projects like these. For us, designing high-traffic spaces requires not only durability but also a commitment to environmental responsibility. In creating the stands and restaurants, we focused on the materials and its connection to the local area. Each design choice was made to honour the local culture while positively impacting the environment. Our goal was to craft spaces that welcome travellers with an authentic approach—where every element aligns beauty with responsibility.
