Liqui Group was commissioned by Wayland Games to design and deliver the retail space as part of a larger gaming and hospitality environment.
The shop is directly connected to the gaming hall and The Lounge, forming the commercial heart of the venue. Designed to support both casual visitors and dedicated players, the layout prioritises clarity, accessibility, and ease of use while reinforcing the wider brand identity.
The retail space follows a clear and functional shop layout, allowing products to be easily browsed and understood. Industrial materials, robust finishes, and considered lighting details add character without distracting from the merchandise.
Rather than competing with the adjacent gaming and hospitality spaces, the retail environment acts as a natural extension of them, supporting the overall customer journey and encouraging movement between play, social space, and retail.
Liqui Group delivered the retail space as part of a full design and build commission. Bespoke counters, shelving, display units, and architectural elements were designed specifically for the space and manufactured in-house.
The focus was on durability, flexibility, and long-term usability, ensuring the shop performs efficiently during busy gaming events while maintaining a strong visual connection to the wider environment.
The retail store forms part of a broader immersive concept that includes a gaming hall and hospitality space. Explore the full Wayland Games brand experience project here.
