"We wanted to design a restaurant that blends seamlessly with the brand."
We led the creative process for the restaurants interior design, blending modern style with sustainable practices. After thorough research, we chose to accent the interior with bamboo themes and a pattern which ties in with the name (Zhuwu meaning “bamboo house”) We also wanted to keep the colour pallet on brand very natural but with a warmth to it. This is why we’ve gone with the exposed concrete/stone look, mixed in with the wood and yellow accents.

To achieve the most authentic yet modern Chinese restaurant interior for Zhuwu, We featured some of our contract furniture along side the branding. This decision to use our furniture was due to the design benefits this offered, the sustainable nature of our furniture as well as the atmosphere they help maintain. We can ensure the same wood is used for the wooden bamboo dividers set up around the restaurant as it is on the tables and chairs. We can then ensure the lamp shrouds also tie in with the chair legs. When paired with the brand colours, and the style choices presented in the logo, we found they worked together and felt part of the branding itself. Bringing all the contract furniture and design elements together.
