Our origins are in the design and manufacture of contract furniture and lighting. This makes it possible for us to offer bespoke joinery and customised products to architects and clients engaged in commercial interior projects around the world. This manufacturing ability makes us almost unique in the field and means that we can go beyond what would normally be possible for an interior design agency. Our in-house workshop can produce our own contract products in custom colourways and finishes to tie in with a branded interior design. In addition, it means we can design and make completely bespoke joinery pieces for a client that are unique to their interior.

Our design studios deliberately overlook our main workshop. It makes it easy to maintain a strong link between our process-led design approach and how we manufacture things. Our designers regularly roll up their sleeves to work on prototypes in the workshop. This means they can get to know the strengths and limitations of materials and figure out the best manufacturing methods – leading to innovative ideas and better interior designs.

What we do.

Sustainable design and manufacture.

We have always strived to make eco-friendly products; sustainability is at the heart of everything we create. We have a sustainable design approach to manufacture and design, which means that we always consider the materials we use and the method of production. As well as only using sustainable timber products, our environmentally friendly ethos is also reflected in the fact that Liqui’s main workshop and design studios are entirely run on 100% renewable energy.

CNC manufacturing.

Liqui’s in-house CNC facilities can machine a wide range of materials having a bed size of 3 x 1.5 metres. Our state of the art machinery incorporates an auto tool changer for all job types. This means we can prototype new products or batch manufacture everything in-house – guaranteeing a high standard of quality.

Bespoke joinery.

As well as producing our existing range of commercial furniture and lighting, our in-house studio/workshop makes it possible for us to offer custom joinery and manufacturing to our clients. We have the technical expertise, joinery skills and manufacturing facilities to create and hand finish many of the custom pieces for our commercial interiors. From custom counters and banquet seating to bespoke retail displays and lighting installs we can design, prototype and produce almost anything required to elevate your commercial interior above the competition.

Metal fabrication.

We are proud to say that we have a longstanding partnership with one of the best architectural and structural metalwork fabricators in the country. With this, the Liqui studio and workshop truly have a level of extraordinary craftsmanship at its disposal, allowing the Liqui team to design, prototype, and fabricate a variety of steelwork to the highest achievable standard.

Paint shop.

We are proud to say that with our in-house spray room paint finishes can be carried out to a high standard. This is complemented further through our manufacturing partners which means, when required, we have specialist paint shop abilities at our disposal.

Upholstery.

We work with one of the finest upholsterers in the county. The quality achieved brings every interior specified with Liqui upholstered furniture to the next level.

Contract furniture and lighting.

Liqui design and manufacture innovative and award-winning, commercial furniture and lighting. Our products are sold to leading commercial projects and influential brands worldwide. By combining modern technology with traditional techniques, we can achieve the highest standard of finish while maintaining large-scale output. Our products have been designed purposely to acknowledge new trends rather than directly following them, increasing their longevity as they stay relevant.

When working with you on your interior project we’re able to offer a range of choices for colour-ways, finishes and materials on most of our contract furniture and commercial lighting. Through well-considered design, our contemporary handcrafted furniture and designer lighting lends itself to a variety of options and interpretations.
